The Key and the Sanctuary is a structured contemplative workbook dedicated to disciplined study of two foundational prayers within the Santo Daime tradition: the Key of Harmony and the Consecration of the Sanctuary.
 
Organized line by line, this text examines the structure, language, and internal progression of each prayer. Through concise commentary, reflection questions, and repeatable integration practices, readers are invited to engage the practical and contemplative dimensions of the prayers in both personal life and collective works.
 
Part One examines the Key of Harmony through its affirmations of Harmony, Love, Truth, and Justice; its declaration of united mental strength and universal fraternity; its affirmation of peace with the whole universe; and its closing gratitude and assent.
 
Part Two examines the Consecration of the Sanctuary through its affirmation of the Infinite Circle of the Divine Presence and the Ten Presences named within it: Harmony, Love, Truth, Life, Abundance, Wisdom, Communion, Reciprocity, Gratitude, and the Divine Sanctuary.
