The fourth question is: What must I transform?
Chapter Seven turns to transformation through Concentration.
Composure is defined as both personal preparation and concentration training, embodying stable firmness and sustainability. Practice is not casual; it requires structure.
Personal Preparation includes: daily hygienic practices, environmental preparation, stretching sequences, and aerobic exercise. The body is not bypassed; it is conditioned.
Concentration Training unfolds in eight parts: intention, seated posture, breath control, detached observation of breath, concentration, redirection, meditative rest, and absorption.
These steps move from effort toward stillness.
The S.B.R.C. structure—Sit, Breathe, Rest, Conclude—organizes the process into a repeatable sequence. The discipline concludes consciously, returning awareness to ordinary waking function.
